About the Event
Learn about Food Waste
Come up close and personal with Black Soldier Flies! They are tiny but mighty! Get up close and buggy with insects as the little ones learn through an interactive storytelling session. Follow Miki, a little girl who is on a mission to banish food waste - and meets the most unlikely superheroes, insects! This activity features our signature ‘blind bag’ storytelling activity, where children get to interact with mystery boxes on their tables as the story evolves in real time. Be prepared for lots of surprises, sensory play, and learning!
Learn about Plastic Waste
Children will be entertained by the story about Spikey the Hedgehog helping his friends keeping their environment clean. After the story, there will be discussions with children about plastic waste, Earth Day and ways to reduce waste. Children will also do group activities that are related to the story.
