Meet The Team
Nan Fang
Founder
With more than 25 years of working experience in media, research, sales, fund raising and entrepreneurship. She is currently also an Associate Lecturer at Republic Polytechnic. While living in Canada, she was awarded a citation from the Canadian mayor and Member of Parliament for her volunteer work with youths. In Singapore, she also volunteered at Camp Rainbow. Her passion in sustainability is evident by her desire to have better understanding of the topic.
In 2019, she was invited by e2i and Republic Polytechnic to speak in the "Feeding the World: Think Global, Act Local" seminar series. She also consulted listed companies in their Sustainability Reporting and is currently helping Republic Polytechnic in crafting lessons for their Urban Agricultural Technology diploma program
Since 2014, she has received certificates from these sustainability-related courses:
•Establish Carbon Footprint Assessment Methodology (A*Star)
•GRI Certified Training Course (PwC)
•Manage Sustainable Fashion Value Chain (Textile & Fashion Industry Training Centre).
Jacinta
Chief Trainer
Jacinta has more than 20 years of working experience. She received her lean six signma green belt in 2014 while working for IBM. While working in the corporate world, she volunteered lead and inspire a team of youth to transform our society. Some of them are entrepreneurs today (eg BEAT'ABOX - Singapore's Largest Cajon School and Sabermach* - a thriving lightsaber making company)
In 2017, she decided to follow her passion and became a pre-school teacher. She has taught in PCF, MapleBear, My Little Gems and Changi Bethany School House. Jacinta obtained her Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education – Teaching, with merit last year
Yifen
Curriculum Specialist
Passionate about teaching with over 10 years of experience in the pre-school sector, as a teacher, trainer and curriculum developer
She has mentored and guide new teachers through lesson observations and evaluations. She has also designed and conducted In-house teachers' training session on “Classroom management” and created and ran “Stories Alive!” A story-inspired drama programme for the holiday classes.
Yifen developed and ran new Junior Robotics Curriculum for pre-schoolers from scratch and conducted Parent-child robotics sessions for People's Association. President Halimah and ministers were invited to view Yifen’s Robotics curriculum at SINDA.
She obtained a Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education (DECCE) and received distinction from Trinity College London Foundation Teaching Certificate (Speech & Drama)
It is her hope to make a positive impact in the lives of the little ones she touch through her work
Jack
CSR Farmer
Jack Andrew Wong has over 25 years of work experience across different media platforms in the Asian Advertising Industry. He has served in senior regional and local sales & marketing roles for major media companies including Reader's Digest, Singapore Press Holdings and MediaCorp Singapore. His sales experience includes leading his teams in creating, marketing and executing national events and sponsorships that are promoted via key media including Newspapers, TV, radio, online, magazines and OOH.
Jack was involved in the organizing of SPH annual National Event - Children’s Day Carnival for 3 years, first serving in operational management and then as Dy Chairman and Chairman respectively.
Prior to entering the private sector, Jack was a former aviator with the RSAF (Republic of Singapore Airforce). He is a graduate of Marketing Institute of Singapore with a professional diploma in Sales and Marketing.
Jack is a long distance runner and ultra-trail marathon enthusiast and participates in local and overseas events every year.
